Hi all. Being that i'm running a now nearly ancient iPhone five, has anyone else noticed if you open light detector, it crashes automatically? Maybe they are coming out with a new one, maybe it's becoming a zombie app. Just curious fi it's just me as I have the, "How did you get that problem, I haven't see it/never heard of that before." Lol.

I have an iPhone 5 and Light Detector is working fine. I'm running iOS 8.41.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the response. I am in the exact same boat as you, but as i said, I click it, it does the opening noise, but absolutely nothing happens. Ugh, maybe i have one of those weird issues? :) thanks for the help anyway. I also have 8.4.1
Light detector works
Hi,
I have two Iphones, Iphone5 and 6 both running the latest version of Ios and light detector works fine.
Have you tried closing and reopening the app? Maybe that might help. If not then a reinstall.

Works on iPad Mini first gen
I don't think it's an iPhone 5 issue, as it works fine on my iPad Mini first generation, which has an A5 processor, which is slower than the iPhone 5's A6 processor.

Hi, seams to be working for my on an iPhone 5s, and it seamed to work on my girlfriend's iPhone 5. She can see, light so has no need of this app.
Maybe access to the camera was lost, settings? Have you made sure your mute switch is off?
Otherwise, a reinstall might work.

Hi all. I went and reinstalled, no go. Then for the heck of it, into settings, somehow, I disabled the camera access. Oops? Sorry for thinking this was a dead app.
