So, I'm one of those holdouts on iOS 10 because I had read about so many negative experiences with it from other users here, particularly about VoiceOver and Safari under iOS 10 and the excessive verbosity. Well, I finally got sick of the constant nagging update reminders so I just took a risk and let the update run. I'm pleased to say that after about three days with the latest iOS version, it's really good! There are some lingering VO issues that were already there, but I haven't found that it introduced any new bugs, and my web browsing experience seems exactly the same to me as it was in prior versions, so I'm not sure what all the fuss was about there.
One of the greatest things about it is the greatly simplified means of moving and managing apps throughout your home screens. The roter options they've added made what was once an incredibly tedious, flawed and frustrating process into a breeze. This feature alone makes it worth the upgrade. I have also found that the OS runs a bit more smoothly and I feel like I can zip around on my phone a bit more quickly, so perhaps they did some performance optimizations under the hood as well, or it's just my perception of it. Either way I dig it.
Anyway, figured I'd post this in case anyone else was nervous to take the leap. I give it my thumbs up.
