This may not be a huge issue to others. But has anyone noticed that when you get a message notification, click on it, and it puts you on the "Back" button? Previously, when you click on the notification banner to check the message, it will automatically put you in the edit field? Is this just my phone or is it the new ios 12 update?

Yes, prior to iOS 12, I would double tap on a message in the messages app, while on the Lock screen, enter my passcode or do the Touch ID as normal, and then be immediately and instantly placed into the message text field ready to type. No other interaction was necessary. Ever since I updated to iOS 12.1, however, I get placed in the 'Back button'. Perhaps this is a minor bug? for voiceOver? I hope it will be fixed in this iOS 12.1.3 that was just released today. If anyone experiences the same thing we have both experienced I'd be sure other Applevis members would like to know.

Thank you, I thought I was making a big deal of something that would be small to others. I'm going to wait a week or two before I update to 12.1.3
