Navigon: interpreting display

Hi all, Sorry for the cross posting. I have Navigon running on my iPhone 5. I have a few questions about this application. 1. When I navigate to a location, what do the numbers mean on the screen where the route is being shown? One of the items displayed is the speed of the vehicle which appears to be reached by flicking to the left of the options button. However, I am not clear on the items displayed on the right of the options button. I suspect one of them is the trip distance but I can't be sure. 2. Can I see what is around me both in situations when I am not navigating to a destination and when I am just driving with the map open? Pranav
