A very interesting article to read. Would be very promising for us if the developers take this new policy and adopt it to their apps. Would benefit us so we can find out if it work with Voice Over before actually having to purchase it. Time will only tell if they would implement this in all apps. A good start on behalf of Apple but I would like to see this more mandotory. New iTunes Agreement Hints At Upcoming App Demo Strategy BY A.T. Faust III - AppAdvice Apple’s new iTunes Terms and Conditions agreement was altered with the software’s newest update, and, while most of the language is basic legalese, TUAW’s Kelly Guimont has isolated a promising bit of news from the otherwise tangled mass of mumbo jumbo: Certain paid In App Subscriptions may offer a free trial period prior to charging your Account. If you decide you do not want to purchase the In App Subscription, turn off auto-renewal in your Account settings during the free trial period. The speculation, of course, is that app developers now have the necessary avenue to offer risk-free trials of paid content, in most cases eliminating the need to offer free “lite” versions of their wares on the App Store. However, there is the possibility that this language is aimed at non-game titles like magazines, but, as Touch Arcade reports, there is actually a separate block of text dealing with print-based works: Certain In App Subscriptions may be designated as “Newsstand” products, in which case they will appear only within the Newsstand application on your device after download. Naturally, nothing is yet crystal clear, but the hope is that this new policy — wherever it’s aimed in the here and now — will spread to universal implementation sooner rather than later.
