Am asking and i know the answer, but why we can not create a shortcut or something that convert any Iphone physical button to mute / unmute my mike while in a call?
i discovered yesterday that android users have this feature, and this is really helpful.
or at least, can we do a voice over gesture to mute my mike? is it possible?
if so, how please?

If you use an AirPod pro 2 and 3, I believe you can do so.
sometimes yes
SOmetimes am using them, and sometimes not.
so, if am not using them, why we can use other alternatives?
I always use AirPods or headphones
Hello! I do not know about any solution to this.
However, I always use AirPods or my Sony headphones while on a call or Teams meeting.
This approach makes it very easy and convenient to mute/unmute the mic while in a meeting or phone call.
With AirPods Pro 3 one can easily mute/unmute mic by pressing the stem once for mute and then again to unmute.
When I wear my Sony XM6 headphones I've configured them to mute/unmute mic by doble pressing the ANC button on the left earcup.
Various earbuds and headsets
While listing them all here would take all day, there are various earbuds and headsets, both Bluetooth and wired, that have this functionality. I have a pair of cheapo neckband Bluetooth earbuds, probably cost me about $20 on Amazon, that do this by simply double tapping the answer/end call button. Your best bet is to just do a little research, and go from there.
Best of luck!
