Possible bug in IOS 10

Hi all,
I am not sure whether this is a bug or a new feature but if this is the case, I'm not sure why!
It appears that all my apps are on page 2 whereas on the last iteration o IOS they were all on page 1. When I looked after updating, the new app 'HOME' was on page 3 and there is no page 1. When I hit the home button. Is this right or is it a bug? I'm using an IPhone 6 with IOS 10.

It's a new feature, as far as I know. Page 1 is now a separate home screen, and your apps start on page 2.

I was wondering the same thing. What use to be page 1 is now just a wigit screen.

In iOS 10, Apple expanded the functionality of widgets. Before, you could only access widgets from Notification Center. Now they are in three places:

1. To the left of the lock screen - do a three-finger swipe to the right to get there.

2. To the left of the home screen - again, a three-finger swipe to the right

3. In Notification Center, to the left of the notifications screen - once again, a three-finger swipe

The reason your apps are now on page 2 is so that widgets can occupy page 1. In essence, page 2 of the home screen is really page 1 of your apps, while page 3 of the home screen is page 2 of your apps, and so on. The app screens themselves haven't changed - just their page numbering.

With so many ways to access widgets there should be an option to turn it off as a page. I'd rather have it as it were with the pages but ah well I suppose I'll just have to get used to it. The lock sound isn't as good as it was in IOS 9 and I wish you could change that.

Actually, page 1 is now the Spotlight search. Before, you had to go to page one and do a three-finger swipe to the right to access it. Now, the Spotlight search is page one. I personally don't like it.

This is not a bug, page one is now dedicated to other things. Again, this is not a bug
