problems with siri

iOS and iPadOS
Hello, I just got an i phone 4s a few months ago. When I'd try to use siri, it says it can't take any requests right now. I'm running i os 5.1.1 and am connected to the internet. What could be going on? When I power on and off the device, it works fine, but siri just quit again recently. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don't think there's anything wrong with your phone. From what I understand, everytime we use Siri, the messages are sent to a master server somewhere. When it gets overloaded, Siri will temporarily stop working on our phones until the traffic clears up some. There are actually some companies that prohibit employees from using Siri at work in order to minimize possible problems with sending company info to this master server.
