Question about a VoiceOver setting?

By KE8UPE, 5 September, 2022

Hi,
I was just browsing my VoiceOver settings, which can be brought up with a 2-finger quadruple tap, & found the following, & am curious to know what it means.
The setting in question is, “ Speak Rotor Confirmation”
I have mine off at the moment, but would consider enabling it, once I learn more about it & what it’s purpose is.

Likely mirrors speak action confirmation

My guess is that if you turn this on, when you flick up on an email to delete, then double tap,you will hear message deleted. It is meant to confirm actions completed with the actions rotor.

Yes I think that's what it does

I usually have Speak Rotor Confirmation on, and I get those "Item Deleted" messages too, but I just turned it off to check and I don't get them anymore. So yes I think that's what it does.
