For many years I used Twitterrific to manage my Twitter account.A As many of you know, Twitter cut the access to several third party apps, including Twitterrific, so now I'm using the Twitter app, and I have some questions that I'm sure some people here know the answers.
1. On Twitterrific if I used a three finger tap on the timeline Voiceover speaks the range of tweets that were shown on the screen. With this I was able to know how many rows of tweets were already to be read on the timeline. For example, every time I opened the app, I did the three finger tap on the screen and received a message something like "Rows 44 to 49". This helped me to know how active was my timeline. If I try this on the Twitter app, I could get the data that I want, but only after having to hear all the text of the Tweet, plus the information about how many people liked it, or rt it, and how long ago it was sent, etc. I would like to know if there is some other way that I could get the row position on the timeline in a faster way.
2. I use the Following mode of Twitter which shows me the timeline in chronological order with all the messages posted by the people I follow. sometimes if there are many Tweets that I haven't read since my last use of Twitter, I get a button with the message "Show more Tweets". If I don't click it, my Timeline will not show all the messages but will only show a reduced amount of the latest posts. The problem is that if I click the button, then the focus of Voiceover will move to some row in the middle of the added messages. I will like it to stay on the last message that I read the last time I opened Twitter so that I will not miss any post. Does someone here know if this is possible?
3. Twitter have two modes for reading the timeline. The first is called "For You", which is the one controlled by the algorithm, and the one called "Following", which is the one that shows the messages in chronological order like Twitterrific, and which is the one that I want to use. The problem is that every morning when I open Twitter, I have to select again the Following Mode since because for some strange reason it will forget it during the night. Any way that I could establish my preference somewhere that the app will not forget it?
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
