Hello,
I have a digital recorder called Zoom h4n.
It has a screen and arrows and a menu button. While it is usable (one only needs to keep the options in their memory), it would be great to have the screen read.
I suspect that I could use the iphone and a OCR to help me to recognize the menus options (the selected option has a different color schema) but I need an app that recognizes text on the fly and not only after taking pictures, cinse it would be very tedious to keep taking pictures each new screen.
Do you know applications that will try to recognize text automatically?
As the font and lightning are standard, I think that ocr's would not have trouble at all recognizing such kind of text.
Thanks,
Marlon

Pocket Reader
Here’s one that could possibly work for you:

Talking Goggles
I have been pleasantly surprised at how useful Talking Goggles is for reading text on the fly.
