smart news problem

iOS and iPadOS

While going down the list of articles, after about 20 or so of them, the app jumps back to the top and gives the message that headlines have been refreshed. Now, I have to scroll down past what I had seen before. Very frustrating. Also, after quite a number of articles, my iPhone 14 pro reacts very slowly. Anyone else have or had these issues? Any suggestions to resolve them? Thanks.

Touchy

I use the app from time to time. What I learned is that the touch screen inside the app is very sensative to location on the screen. If you read and article and then hit the back button to return to the list of articles, be careful to swipe from wherever you tapped the back button. You will probably have to experiment with screen location anyway, though, if for no other reason than to get consistent.

I've also learned that when you're swiping right through the articles, it's important not to touch the screen unless you're continuing to swipe right or are going to double tap to open the article. If you're about to double tap, be careful too tap where you last swiped. Deviating from that spot will cause problems.

Bottom line. Experiment with where you are touching the screen.

Good luck!
