Status Report

Please can someone give me some advise? I have downloaded the Status Report app and I am having a few difficulties. 1. When I try to update my status on my iPod touch, it jumps out of the app. 2. I am having a lot of difficulties adding Twitter to both my Iphone and iPod. I can sometimes access it but for the majority, it will not allow me. I am a new user to Twitter, so I have probably done something terribly wrong. An example is when I try to add Twitter to my iPhone, at the point of putting in my account and password, it tells me that it is invalid data! I have had the application working on my iPod but not both Facebook and Twitter on my iPhone.
