I've been noticing lately on several station apps I used to watch live news streams with now seem to have the following issue.
if I find the stream I want, hit play either nothing happens or I get pushed back to the top of the screen and can't get the content to play no matter what I try.
2 examples of this would be the fort wayne Wane 15 app and the wghp fox 8 app
I'm using an iPhone 5
If anyone has better results than I do, please let me know.
I want to make sure it's not a problem on my end before I contact the dev as both of these apps used to work fine for me.

Possibly the auto-scroll bug
I’m not familiar with the specific apps, but this sounds like it might be the auto-scroll problem that exists in iOS 8 - where the page doesn’t automatically scroll to follow the movement of VoiceOver focus when swiping. This means that if focus lands on an actionable element that is not visually present on screen, it may not do what it’s supposed to.
Are you locating the playback controls by touch or swiping? If the latter, see if you can locate them by touch. You might find that you will need to use the 3-fingered swipe up/down to bring the area of the page containing the controls onto screen.
