Think my iPhone 8 is pooping out, can I put the sim card in my old iPhone 7?

Hi,
I think my iPhone 8 is pooping out, it restarted in the middle of a call today, and the battery life is going down the tubes. I have an old iPhone 7 that I use as an iPod for Bitlife and such. I can't get an SE 2020 until November due to budget, so can I swap sims so I don't have to limp through the next couple weeks?

Yes, there should be absolutely no problems with this... I've done it many times.

I hope that it gets you through the next few weeks ☺️

Most definitely

You can stick it into any phone that takes a nano-SIM and supports your carriers radio bands and isn't locked to another carrier. Just be sure to orient it properly. It's got a little notch in one corner that corresponds to the SIM tray.
