My apologies if this is in the wrong forum, I couldn't see one for general iOS Apps.
I'd like to be able to translate messages in WhatsApp. I'm sure I was able to do this a week or so back by going to the message, flicking down through the various options that included translate. That translate option has now disappeared. There are 2 options related to transcripts and one includes language, but I think that refers to converting audio messages to text.
Translate does appear in iOS messages, but I guess that is an iOS thing and what I need is specific to WhatsApp?
Does anyone know how I can get the translate function back in WhatsApp?
Separately, I'm looking at adding a translate function to shortcuts and I've tried this a couple of times, but clearly I'm doing something wrong because it isn't working.
Are there any other options for enabling me to quickly translate WhatsApp messages into English?
