Hello everyone,
I recently began using the Apple Intelligence features introduced with iOS 18.2. I’m thoroughly enjoying the integration with ChatGPT. I discovered that if I ask Siri to describe an image, she can forward it to ChatGPT for a description. However, each time I request a description, Siri prompts me to confirm whether she should submit the image. Unfortunately, there seems to be no option to disable this prompt before submission. Perhaps we should consider submitting feedback to Apple regarding this issue.

Prefix with Ask GPT
Say "ask GPT to describe my screen" instead. That should work. I think.
Mert Ozer,
Privacy issue that apple will not change for several years. This is why apple focus on using Siri on the phone instead of the cloud. Probably continue until people become confortable using it. No issues for me, prefer protecting my privacy than siri just send it without asking. To each their own.
Yea but...
Okay, just like we have the option to disable its prompting to send our requests to ChatGPT, there should also be an option to disable it specifically for file attachments. This way, people who are more careful about their privacy can be happy, and those who don’t mind their photos being sent to ChatGPT can also be happy. For God’s sake!
@Devin Prater
It only works for text-based requests. Whenever Siri goes to send the photo to chat gpt, she asks for it.

Picture do to privacy issues. Apple appears to focus more on protecting privacy especially of minors. Probably they figure some will try to use it for bad intentions. They might want to protect themselves against legal issues. Just thinking, If I own apple would do the same.
Protecting minors shouldn't somehow limit how we use our phones
I understand your perspective, but Apple provides parental control features with Screen Time and other restrictions. During the setup process, it asks if the iPhone is intended for a child or a legal adult. Surely, it wouldn’t be difficult to include an option that is disabled by default and would turn off prompts for file uploads to ChatGPT. We are not Apple advocates.

Wait several years to get apple to give us a choice. Apple mindset is about privacy. I like that. Well apple
Setting, apple intelligence and siri
There is a setting under Apple Intelligence and Siri, you can toggle on and off whether Siri confirms each time. I had to do that on my MacBook.
Here is the apple support page. For Chat Gpt integration

Chat GPT app
Sorry for asking here. How can I copy story that I got from the chatgpt? Do not see a copy or how to select the text. Sorry for asking here.
re, chat queestion
You should be able to swipe down with one finger on the answer in the response of chatgpt when voiceover is focussed on it, coppy will be one of the items in the actions rotor. Alternatively if the answer is all 1 element, you can use the gesture of voiceover to coppy last spoken text to clipboard.
@Orlando
Thanks for your response, I know about that setting and it's already off. But that setting only affects the text-based response. Whenever Siri proseeds with sending an image or a file to ChatGPT; it then prompts and I have to say yes every time. It would be a pretty quick way to get image descriptions, instead of using shortcuts or be my eyes app.
