using .docx files on an iPhone?

What is the best way of reading writing and/or editing a .docx, an ms word file, on my iPhone 6S? I already have pages installed on the phone, but I haven't done much with that app since I could not figure out how to spellcheck with it.

Thanks for any advice?

Think your best bet is the Microsoft Word app. Luckily it's free and accessible. I don't use Pages. I use Word. I think it's because I've used it for litterally years. Hope this helps!
