Video editor easy to use

Hi all.
Recently I have been editing a lot of video using my PC
I use the machete app.
It is fairly accessible.
However it is a little quirky to operate.
I was wondering if anybody knew of a better app for editing videos that I could either use on my iOS device, or my PC

I tried some very basic editing on iMovie. There were a few accessibility issues at the time. I think I was able to splice together a couple of videos, but it took some guessing. I attempted, and failed to add sound to a series of photos strung into a video. There was a timeline type of feature that didn't seem accessible.
* I need to add that I use Voice Over only.
