voice messages on facebook messenger

hi all,
after updating to the latest facebook messenger with iOs11, I'm not able to send voice message. the option voice message doesn't exist. I just find audio composer but when I press this button I'm not able to send a voice message. has anyone experienced this issue?

You need to hold the audio composer button, speak your message, then release to send.

If you change your mind, slide your finger, I usually slide up before releasing.
