Just curious to know if anyone’s used any Bluetooth five headset with the newer iPhones. If so, have they noticed any gain in responsiveness while using voice over? For example if you’re using an iPhone X with the Jabra elite 65t, have the slight delays in typing been resolved?
I am actually using the AirPods with my iPhone XS Max. Although the AirPods work very well, they use Bluetooth 4.2 And there’s still a slight delay in responsiveness. Bluetooth 5 is supposed to be double the speed in terms of touch responsiveness and audio output. But it only works if you’re using a Bluetooth 5.0 headset with a Bluetooth device. So the iPhone 8, 8+, 10, 10r, 10s, and 10s Max coupled with a Bluetooth 5.0 headset could alleviate the long standing typing and touch delay.
The HomePods are Bluetooth 5.0 as well.
I hope someone has info. I have been curious. But don’t want to go outside of the AirPods yet to test
