there is no official way to do this. caller ID settings are not configurable. mute speach, that's all I'm aware of. Join the iOS beta, and submit this suggestion.
Did you checked your Sounds & Haptics Settings? If so you can turn the volume down. Here is how you can do this:
1. On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
2. Once you have done this, go to the setting called Sounds & Haptics you can also search in the Settings for Sounds & Haptics if you cannot find it.
3. Once you have done this set your VoiceOver rotor to headings and swipe down until you hear Ringtone & Alerts.
Next to that there will be a Volume slider that you can adjust swipe up to increase the volume or swipe down to decrease the volume. This will make VoiceOver's speech softer. Hopefully this helps.
If you go into the iPhone settings and choose phone, there is a button announced by VoiceOver as "Announce Calls." Go into that page and choose an option that meets your needs. Not 100% sure that it will fix your problem but it is worth a try.
I'd do one of two things, make or buy a ringtone or several from your fave tV and musicians, or put completely stupid nicknames so they don't know who "Six Feet dude" really is. I know neither of those help much, I'm sorry for that. I still can't wait until there's a balance sound again. No more of this, voice over on sounds are about 25% softer. yes I also remember when they were in your ear during a call. I'd like the ability to have them how I want not how Papa Apple says.
