Weather Gods 4.9.6 - Rainfall Radar & Warnings Map (fully accessible)

iOS and iPadOS

Hi All,

4.9.6 is on the App Store.

The two headline things: worldwide rainfall radar, and a warnings map. Both are fully accessible with VoiceOver. You can move around the radar, hear what’s over you, and get a description of a cell. The warnings map is the same idea for official alerts.

If anything’s awkward with VoiceOver on either map, please say so here and I’ll fix it.

Thanks as always.

Scott

Works well with iOS 27. Do not see issue. Same with watch 11 and OS 27.

Hi scott and others,
I've had WG pretty much ever since it came out back in late 2016/2017, forget the exact date but hey!! These changes from these two past updates or so are huuuuuuge, and truely loved! Honestly, thanks for everything you and your team do at weather gods, and I truely look forward to seeing whats in store. Theres other weather apps for instance if your big into getting info from IEM bot, theres alerWX which works very well on iOS and macOS, but WG has had the weather info on the home screen when you open the app since like 4.6, i believe on mac. I love that I can now view the different weather info on the mac version now, and not have to open each god and look hour by hour to get current conditions! These new changes have been long overdue, for macos, but hey, I'm just thrilled that we have them!! I hope to see whats in store for the future of WG and look forward to the next big updates!

Thanks Justin, I think I started this in 2016 and went live late 2016. It's been a while! If you or anyone else has any feedback on the radar and warnings map I would love to hear it.
