Zoom doesn't start when you log in to Mavericks 10.9.5.

Low Vision Accessibility on Apple Products

Hello,

I have just upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.5, and I have to zoom in every time I log in. I didn't have to do this when I first got my mac using Snow Leopard, then Lion. This is irritating. There is no checkbox to turn zoom on or off, just a "Toggle Zoom" keyboard shortcut. Changing the Minimum Zoom slider has no effect on this. Is this fixable?
