Hi all,
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. He recently set up a radio station using Radionomy, which is a service that allows you to set up a radio station with 24/7 automation, live broadcasting and all royalties covered. The catch, if you like, is that you have to play 4 minutes worth of ads per hour, but this didn't matter too much to him. Radionomy was great because it allowed us to run the station without having to worry about royalties, and we didn't need a system streaming to the server 24/7, as the automation is handled remotely.
The Radionomy site requires a lot of drag and drop to set up the automation as you have to drag the day template you want to play into a certain date, then the server will generate that planning and start playing. This worked for a while using the usual VO drag and drop commands, VO and comma to mark the planning for drag and drop, moving to the day and then VO full stop to drop it, but since he updated to MacOS Sierra, this no longer works. I've tried doing it on my Mac, also on Sierra, but it doesn't work. The other drag and drop method, VO F5 to move the mouse pointer to the correct place etc doesn't work either, so there seems to be no accessible way of using the site now.
Does anyone know if there has been a change to the way drag and drop works in Sierra, and if there is does anyone know of a possible work around?
If not, then does anyone know of a similar service that will allow him to have a radio station for free, or a low cost, that covers royalties and has server-based automation? Sorry if I'm not using the correct terminology there, this sort of thing isn't my strong point :) but I mean automation without him having to have a computer running all the time.
Thanks in advance for any help.
