Hi,
I have a M1 Macbook Air and a M1 iMac. After updating to Mac OS Ventura I have noticed that the Apple TV App which comes preinstalled on the acs is almost not usable with VoiceOver. There is so much interacting and stop interacting with areas that are not lablet correctly that I don't want to watch whatever I wanted to watch there in the first place.
I don't know if that happened a while ago or if that is something new cause I did not use the TV App for a while now. But Iremember it being way better and way ore intuitive to use that one.
Music seems to get worse too but atleast the areas are lablet which makes using the app not fun but at least possible.
Any help on how to use TV efficiently would be apreciated. Thanks!
Best regards from Germany
Dennis

Doesn't really answer your…
Doesn't really answer your question though might be a solution... I simply airplay content from my phone to my Mac. The Apple TV app on Mac is pretty rubbish, as are all their other media apps. I find IOS the preferable place to consume content but, especially with my MBP, I want to use the great sound system, hence, air playing. Works pretty well.
Re: Doesn't really answer your…
Thanks I actually didn't think about simply airplaying to the Mac. The only issue there is that AirPlay eats through the iPhones battery in no time. At least when I used it more back in 2019 it did. So maybe that has changed by now.

Good point. I tend to leave mine on the charger. After you've started it playing you can pause and resume on the Mac end of things.
I am disappointed that the Mac hasn't got the same fully integrated TV app as it has on IOS, IE has tie ins to other content provider's apps. Of course, there aren't any other apps like Disney, amazon etc for the Mac which means it's not really apple's fault, but I do wish there was continuity on how things work. The diving in and out of groups is so stupid. I always think about how one would teach an older person with little computer experience to use a Mac... In short, I wouldn't. I'd just get them an iPad.
Searching
For me, especially with all the unlabeled sections, if I know what I want to watch, I usually perform a search by pressing Command-F to jump to the search field, typing my search term, and locating the content in the collection.
