Be My Eyes on the Mac?

macOS and Mac Apps

I am aware of the VOCR app and use it regularly, but taking a picture with the Mac’s camera and scanning it has never worked for me. It would be great to have Be My Eyes on the Mac as well. Do developers plan to bring it to macOS, or at least adapt the iOS app for Mac? It shouldn’t be too hard, I guess. It would make our lives easier since Be My Eyes is already such a great and useful app.

They know better than me what could be preventing them from importing it to the mac. For me a mac version would be great.

They had Mike from BME on Double Tap the other day and it sounds like it is coming, hopefully in the next couple of months. I'm really looking forward to this.

From the double tap episode, Be My Eyes wants to (hopefully) launch a MacOS app in 2 months or so time.
PS: Nice to meet you all, I'm the "Jessica" that Mike referenced in the episode.

Just making sure that people know that the Be My Eyes app is already available for Windows. There is a download link on their web site.

The program will describe what is on the screen or what comes through the camera.

Nice that it will also soon come to Mac.
