Best contact manager for mac

Hi,
I'm seeking recommendations for a good contact manager for the mac. What I want to do is create a giant group (700 plus contacts), which are just names, and put them in one .vcard file, so I can batch import them into bitlife. Also, bitlife guesses at the gender of the contacts, is there a contact editor thing where gender is a field, so I don't have to scroll through once they're in bitlife and make sure it guessed right, this was tedious in the past, but now with bitlife using direct touch, this will be even more tricky I'm sure. I know contacts can work with groups, but I'd prefer if these didn't junk up my iCloud or google contacts, since all it is is just essentially a list of names, and hopefully genders, but it needs to be in a vcard format so bitlife can read it.
I hope I'm explaining it right.
