I really don't like navigating the facebook web site. But I also would prefer not killing my phone battery all the time either because I'm on fb pretty often. The iOS app works great. Are there any decent facebook apps for mac?
Thanks for your input.

Hello. Go to m.facebook.com You will love it. I don't midn using it on iOs. It is not a battery killer at all, but I have an iPhone 10r that is almost a year old, so we'll see.

I used to use the mobile site all the time, but then the iOS app got so much better. Also the mobile site isn't as feature rich, but it is indeed a lot less cluttered. :) I would still love an actual app though.
To this day I still say it is a shame that facebook discontinued XMPP for messages, (which happened back in 2015), so programs like Adium no longer work. I used to love using Adium for fb messages back in the day, and the current messenger mac app is terrible with Voiceover. Would love to have an alternative. I know I can just use Messenger on the phone, but having a messenger app that works well on the mac would be nice too. As fast as I can type with Braille screen input in iOS, I'm still faster on the laptop.

When I first got this iMac back in February, I immediately looked for Facebook apps. I'm a twitter bird (@blindbirder), and I've grown up using Night Owl/Yorufukurou, TWBlue, Tween etc. There are options on the Mac App Store, but I'm not the best Guinea pig in the pet store. There's something called menu tap or something. The name is escaping me.
