does the latest version of windows work well with bootcamp?

Ok, so my audio game streaming means I use a lot of windows software. Here's the deal, I'm really starting to hate VMWare fusion because of all the latency and things like that, plus the inability to comfortably run 64-bit operating systems. Does the newest windows installer work with BootCamp? I know for a while, Microsoft wanted everyone to use an older installer for some reason, but they have since made that installer unavailable. Now I'm not sure what to do. I already dread installing an OS with a camera and an OCR app because my camera skills are the absolute worst, but it will be even harder if I have to chase an old installer into the bargain.

It seems to be just fine here

I have an early 2011 macbook pro with 16 GB of ram and a 2 TB solid state drive. I use bootcamp, and by default, my system boots into windows. The newest windows 10 seems to be working just fine on this machine. I would advise using caution, though. Don't force any windows updates; wait for them to be offered. I use the semi anual channel, the one that is safe for corperate use. That way, with any luck, all the potential glitches will be worked out, and in theory, I assume that it won't offer me the update if my machine can't handle it. I learned the hard way last year, though, not to force an update. That resulted in a $500 bill including the new drive I'm using now. Interestingly, the mac side of my system can't go past high sierra, so I find it interesting that windows still seems to be updateable. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

just as long as the iso file works

I'm downloading the iso file straight from Microsoft, and I don't want to use one that will crash things. A windows 7 iso did that to my old MacBook Air once. Here are my specs, MacBook Pro late 2016, 4 usb c ports, 8 gb ram, 512 GB ssd, Mac OS 10.14.6, anything higher and no iTunes.
