I’m getting the same error, some backstory, I’ve been trying to get an accessibility mod for Minecraft, I found it, when I was installing it, it gives me the same error, I’ve also tried installing on windows, but Minecraft does not work properly, it keeps loading, anyway, I’m getting the same error, it might be a bug?

If you try to do what Zeirus mentioned,
1. Select the .jar file
2. Click Get Info
3. Select JavaLauncher

A very well known app to play board games

It helped me successfully run a new java version and run the AiAi program mentioned above
