Has anyone successfully exported a pages document to Word? I find that I can export to other formats such as PDF and TXT but when I try word it just exports to the .pages format. Thoughts?

very strange

When I try to export as a Word document, I experience the same bug as I did with the previous version of Pages. Whatever I choose from the sub menu, Pages thinks I want to export a PDF. The difference with the new version of Pages is that I wasn't able to change to my preferred document type before exporting. This is a show stopper for me, as I use Pages to change ebooks from .txt to epub. Oops!

OK, I interacted (always forgetting to do that) with the things that just said unknown, unknown, unknown... They are the format types and although I got a error sound with VO+SpaceBAR, i pressed Enter and was saving a Word document. Phew! I've been telling everyone how good Pages is now all day!
