Final Cut Pro X

Hi guys!

I was wondering if it is possible to place effects and titles in Final Cut Pro x and independently interact with them/move them around by entering a time code?

I know how to do the basics, but I really need to be able to do some precision editing and not just insert or throw background tracks/sound effects on my primary storyline. At the same time, I also need to be able to edit other titles, effects, or b-roll footage without touching my primary storyline.

Someone did an excellent tutorial that helped me a lot—I will link the YouTube video when I manage to relocate it. If anyone has done more advanced editing with Final Cut Pro and could give me some advice, I would be most grateful.
