going to the start or end of a web page on mac

Hello,

I am using Safari on my Mac. On some web pages, when I need to go to the end of the website, I press `Cmd`+`End`, but it does not take me to the end. It takes me to the end of a section or something. Is there another shortcut for this? Or what can I do to go to the end of any web page?

Thanks,

The two commands (mentioned above), take you to the 'visible beginning' and 'visible ending' of a page, respectively.

it worked

It didn't work either in Safari or Chrome.
If that is relevant, I'm running on lates macOS 13.4, and the latest stable version of both browsers.

Thanks

Well I keep thinking there can't be any more VoiceOver shortcuts to learn, and am wrong yet again.

I never knew you could do this. I've had another short cut setup that never quite worked, so will try to commit this one to memory.

VoiceOver help says vo+shift+home or end goes to start and end of visiblebeginning or end and without shift just goes to beginning and end. It didn't seem to do anything I could understand without shift from a quick play. But with shift it did what I was after.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks.

Well I'm a big num pad commander fan. I set Num Pad 0 and 3 and 6 to go to the bottom and top of visible screen and it's just so fantastically useful.

In combination with 0 plus 4 and 5 to jump between headings it's really nice. So on Apple Vis I can 0+3 to get to the bottom of the page, then VO+4 to browse back through the headings. Finding, say, Pagination at the bottom is now really easy and I can do it one handed.

Anyway I wanted to say another thank you for this suggestion. I love it.

And for anyone else using num pad commander, a really useful trick is to press VO+K then press another VO combination and it will tell you the name of the command, which then makes it easy to find when configuring the num pad. VO+H, H and VO+K are far more handy than I had originally thought.

Dang. Good info
