Hi all.
I've just updated to Mac OS Sierra and am trying to access the new optimised storage options, not because I want to use them, but rather because I want to make sure they are switched off.
I have navigated to the manage storage section in About This Mac, but have not found the options described in mainstream articles about this. All I see is something called Recommended, which I can't seem to do anything with, a list of apps etc on the Mac, and something called System which again I can't seem to do much with.
Can anyone advise where I am going wrong?
Thanks

Actually you have to do the following. I forgot to include this in my book. Oops?
1. Go to system preferences
2. Go to iCloud and hit vo space,
3. Go to iCloud drive and interact
4. Vo right until you get to options under that section.
5. Check optimize storage, or uncheck it if you want.
Hope that helps a bit.
What book are you referring to?
And where can I find it, KE7ZUM? Would love to read it.
