help with remapping voiceover keys

Hi: After listening to the wonderful podcast on how to remap the voiceover keys to capslock, I went through the entire process. Unfortunately, I got to the stage where keyboard help now recognises the capslock key as the vo keys, but not in combination with any other key. So I get control option "K" instead of keyboard help. When I try the new vo key with another key, I get a sound but nothing happens. I went back through the steps and can't work out what I've missed. Does anyone have this problem or have any suggestions? Is there a way to start from the beginning? I am using a Macbook Air and wonder if this requires another step to get the remapping to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I really would like to get this to work. Thanks.

Hi: I've just worked out what went wrong; simply failing to click ok on a pop-up menu. Had to change setting in keyboard options to "no action".
