Help with safari on mac and video playback of certain sites

Hi,
I know I'm going to sound like an absolute geek here, but I don't care, I'm a geek, lol. Anyway, I want to record a newscast from a certain website, but unfortunately, the audio is muted when I go to the site, and the video player is in a frame, and it doesn't seem as though the volume buttons are visible. Is there another browser I can use, or is there a work-around, so I can set safari to keep all videos unmuted so I can record this every day? Somehow, I unmuted it once, and it stayed unmuted for a few weeks, then it got reset, and I don't know how to fix it, preferably permanently. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using mac OS Catalina on one of my macs, but I also have another mac running Sierra, if that might help. Anything to get me able to record this again would be awesome. I would prefer not to have to unmute every time I use the site, because often times, I'm not near the computer when I record it, I just usually use audio Hijack and have it launch the URL at the desired times.
