Hello to all. I'm trying to create a counter for myself while I work on this project. I have the time I want in minutes but I want to add all of column a from a2 to what ever and have the result placed in b2. I can't get the functions to work using voiceover. Am I missing anything here? I click insert then formula then sum. But from there I'm lost. I read a help document but it was not very good. Any help? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm no expert with Numbers but in my day was quite a wiz on Excel so assume the skills are transferable.
I suggest that you simply type your formula in the cell that you want the result. Starting with an "=" will denote that you are entering a formula.
Your formula should look something like this:
=Sum(B2:B100)
This will give you the sum of all values in the range from B2 to B100 inclusive. Change the range to suit your needs.

Ok, that worked fine. Is there an online guide where I can learn how to do this manually? As trying to do all of that by draging and selecting sells was just not fun. Lol!
Can't help with online resources.
Sorry, I can't help with online resources for Numbers.
From my experience, however, the internet is awash with explainers for Excel and every formula I have transferred from Excel to Numbers has worked.
Since losing my sight, I have found no easy way to use spreadsheets other than careful naming of Columns and Rows and a rapacious memory for what is in each cell.
Tweet me if there is a specific formula you need help with.
