If you know the Twitter ID of the person who you want to look at the timeline or follow, you would use the keyboard command, cmd Plus u. just to do a general Twitter search for Twitter IDs, hashtags and phrases you would use Control 4, if you enter a person's twitter ID using this method, it will show you everyone who is posted a tweet using that person's Twitter ID.
