Hi there, I've only had my Macbook air a week, and I seem to be getting on pretty well with it. I have some text books that I wanted to read on iBooks, I managed to start reading them, however I was just a little confused with how I change pages with out it jumping all over the place. I have to say I'm used to the iPad layout of iBooks, so can anyone tell me an easy way of navigating pages with in a book? If there isn't an easy way to do this, then can someone recommend a very good ebook reader. Just to add I am running all the latest version of the operating system and apps etc. Hope someone can help. Georgia.

I've only read novels using ibooks on mac but as far as I can tell, it puts the entire chapter in the html content rather than the pages. To change the chapter you go to the menu, or turn VO off and press command shift right arrow, but I haven't seen a way to do that with individual pages. Hope this helps.

Hi Georgia,
I'm afraid this comment won't be of much help, because I don't own a mac, but I'd suggest, if possible, perhaps you could read the textbooks in question on your ios device the way you want too if this is not possible on the mac. However, it strikes me as very strange if you can't in fact read the entire book page by page as you would on IOS. Hopefully others can maybe provide better solutions for you.

I use the down arrow to move to the next page, and up arrow for the previous.
