Hello everyone.
I'm new to this website, so please excuse me if I make some mistakes.
My name is Gary Price. I live in Bolton in Lancashire.
I've been blind since birth and have an iPhone5s and a Macbook Pro.
I'm writing this on my Windows desktop.
I've got a question, but not sure how to explain it.
I want to try Time Machine on my Macbook Pro.
The problem I've got is my external hard drive, which is a 2 terrabyte one is currently formatted for Windows.
Please does anyone know if there is such a way I can partition the hard drive so I can put my Windows stuff onto an NTFS formatted one, but then have an OSX Extended Journled I think it's called one for my Mac.
Excuse my spelling by the way.
Thanks very much, I look forward to any responses.

You might be able to boot in
You might be able to boot in to to the recovery consoul and reformat and then repartition the windows formated 2tb drive. I'm not sure though if you can. I'm still learning the partition section of disk utility, but it is very much doable, with a lot of patience.
Thanks.
Hi. Thanks for this, might look into it.
Not sure though, as the problem is that my folder with all my Windows stuff in it is on the root of the drive.
