Hi Gang,

Is it possible for me to use 2 Apple keyboards on my Mac simultaneously? They can both be bluetooth connected or one can be cable connected. I'd like to be able to have one keyboard at my midi piano and the other at my Mac to use recording software such as Logic Pro X.

Thbank you! smile

I just connected another Bluetooth keyboard. I'm now typing on the second one. It works just fine. I had to hit a couple of keys to get it to ID the new keyboard, I don't remember doing that with the first one. But it's all accessible.

That's good enough for me. Thank you. It sounds like I won't have to lug the one keyboard back and forth and can put one permanently at the midi piano.

Depending on your keyboard and/or how comfortalbe you are with midi mapping, you might be able to control a lot ofstuff with your keyboard.

But back to BT keyboards, there's the Logitech K380, which a lot of people like, but I also just picked up a Protoarc XK04. It folds in half and can fit in your pocket. Even expanded, it's not that big. It needs a surface to sit on, but if you've got a bit of flat space on your midi keyboard, you might be able to put it right there.

It has no numpad or function keys, but you can get the funciton keys by holding down FN and using the numberrow. It can pair to multiple devices with FN q, w, e. I don't know how you feel about tiny keyboards, but it's a thought, might be easier than having a full-sized keyboard taking up space around your instrument.
