macOS and Mac Apps
I'm learning to code for IOS, so I recently upgraded my mac from snow leopard to mountain lion to be able to install xcode. After the annoying ordeal of getting it installed, I found that, while my boot camp is not destroyed, it is showing some significant quirks. Previously, almost immediately after loading windows I would hear NVDA's startup sound, but now there is a delay of about ten seconds, and NVDA takes a while longer to load after that. Also (this is not as a result of the upgrade) I chose to buy mainstage because I do audio development, and would like the extra instruments for garage band that mainstage includes. Much to my dismay, the app doesn't load. Yes, it opens an application, but it claims to have no windows and continues to show my applications. I have come to the conclusion that mainstage is completely inaccessible, but there appears to be no support contact for this app, and it seems too specialized to send to the general accessibility contact. Has anyone else used this successfully? What about the bootcamp problem. Is anyone else getting this?
