Mac Messaging App not syncing with I fone messages after IOS10 Update

One of the feature I like most is that mac messages ap syncs with I fone messages and it is so easy to send important text messages as it is easier to type in Mack than on I fone. After I updated my I fone to IOS10, face time and mail have syncronised but messaging ap has not. Can anyone help me solve this problem? I have done all the things like freshing networks, even have again updated IOS 10 with I tunes, have done all those things with blue tooth refresh etc.

Hello, I am a beta tester for IOS and am on Gold master for IOS 10 but have no issues receiving messages on my mac through the messages app. Did you try logging out of all devices and logging back in as far as messages is concerned?

I signed off from my I phone and Mac but no luck. When I go to settings and then messages and try to connect my mac with my I phone, it asks me to put code sent to Mac on my i fone but there is no code sent to mac.

Did you try restarting both the iPhone and Mac? I had a problem when first setting up text message forwarding where the code wouldn't appear and restarting both devices fixed the problem.

Thanks for your feedback and help. Yes I logged off and then logged on to both devices but the problem persists. I am at loss to know what am I doing wrong. I deeply appreciate your feedback and help. I just love this feature and I need it for my office work as well. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
