Hello, since the beginning of last week, I have been quite excited about the Apple os updates. I updated my iPad and found it to run a little slower and having harder accessibillity interaction when navagating alone and using VO. Should I update my Mac or wait? What are the perks and bugs? Thank you

This operating system does not come out until Tuesday, and as far as waiting goes, I would highly recommend wait about an hour to after release, just to make sure nothing breaks or the server isn't jammed.

As already said the update only comes out the 20th, but from what I heard so far from beta users, it's very good news in terms of Voiceover. Some VO changes, a lot of VO bugs fixed, much more stable etc.

Personally I'm looking forward to Sierra, right from the start I haven't been that impressed with El Capitan.

Do you need your Mac for work or other essential purposes? If yes, then you should always wait a few weeks before applying any major updates such as this, just to make sure you're aware of any show-stopping issues. If not, or you're the adventurous type (I'm guilty, by the way) then go right ahead. Just do a Time Machine backup first, in case you have to do an emergency rollback.

I myself have waited for each major software update until reading about the accessibility bugs from the good folks here at AppleVis. But to each his own. If you want to update your system right away, go ahead and do so. Having said that though, I too am very excited about tomorrow's release based on what I've read on here from those who have participated in the beta program. It seems like with each new update, at least one major issue is resolved. At least this has been my somewhat limited experience.
