mainstage: help with assign hardware control

Hello,
is there someone that was able to assign a hardware control of his keyboard to a screen control?
Suppose you have a hardware control on your keyboard called butrton1, and you want to assign it to the "set current patch" function of manstage.
I have several problems in the map assignments inspector with voiceover, do you have some solutions?
