Hi Mac users. I'm curious if someone knows how could set up all the commands using voiceOver on my macbook pro, It's mean all of (F) keys don't recognize the commands when use VO plus F key. One example is when press VO plus F8 only say keyboard back light and not about vvvoiceOver Utilities, just the F5 key works to turn on and of voiceOver.. When open safari and try to navigate on it pressing VO plus the leter command by link or headings doesn't respond just navigate bringing up with VO plus u.. Please if you have some idea what's wrong is it let me know how could fix it step by step Thanks for your help Mac users.., Oh! I forgot to mention I an running Mac OS Mountain Lion.

Have you tried

Have you tried turning off quick nag? To do this hit your left and right arrow keys at the same time. Also it may be that your fn key needs to be pressed when performing some functions. Try hitting FN with VO when your trying to address a key command that you think will turn out another result. Aaron L

Go to system preferences, then keyboard. on the keyboard tab, you'll find a checkbox labeled "use all f1, f2 etc keys as standard function keys." Check this box and close system preferences and you should be fine. As things are set up now, your function keys are controlling hardware related functions such as Volume, screen brightness etc. To access these in the future, you'll have to hold down the fn key before pressing the function key you want. I hope this helps.
