iCloud Keychain if you are lucky

If you are lucky, the password will be stored in iCloud Keychain.

The following steps are from https://www.cyclonis.com/how-to-recover-passwords-on-your-pages-numbers-and-keynotes/

  1. Open Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.
  2. Use Finder to locate your document. You can also search for its entry in the list; it will be named "iWork Document Password."
  3. Press on the entry.
  4. Put a tick in the Show Password box.
  5. Enter your account password when asked. This action will display the password in the Show Password field.
  6. You can copy the password somewhere until you change it.

This assumes that you checked the box to have the password saved when you added it to the document.

If not, then the only option is likely to be some form of brute force password finder tool, which is way beyond my knowledge.

Good luck!
