Problem checking spelling in TextEdit

After bringing up the list of suggested words, is there a way to have them spelt out character by character? JT

Hi JT, If you've pressed the down arrow to access the list of suggestions and are pressing the left and right arrows to navigate through that list, Voiceover should be saying the word first and then spelling it out character by character. For example as you navigate the list you should hear something like "character c, h, a, r, a, c, t, e, r". Remember that accessing the list of suggested corrections and navigating it is to be done without using the Voiceover keys. If you are looking for a way to manually spell the suggestion out (that is using the arrow keys to read the suggestion character by character) I do not believe there is a way to do this in Text edit. You should, however, be getting the spellings as you navigate the list. Let me know if you need any more help. Take care, Blue Orb
