Hi.
I'm trying to copy files from my Mac to iPad Pro using the finder window in Catalina.
Note, this isn't syncing the iPad, it's using the "files" section to move items across to app folders within the iPad.
Obviously before Catalina I had to use iTunes to move files across and this was done by selecting the items I wanted to copy in a finder window, using Command-C to copy and then Command-V to paste into the table within iTunes.
Now, it seems like copy and paste doesn't work any more when using the finder to manage the iPad.
Any ideas on how I can get my files across to the apps on my iPad using this new finder management thing!?

Drag And Drop
Copy and paste does not work with this, but drag and drop in macOS is not hard.
Open two finder windows. One with the file to copy and the other with the files tab for the IDevice.
Move vo to the item and rout the mouse to vo.
Lock the mouse with vo-command-shift-space.
Stop interacting with the finder window and switch windows with command-` to go to the iPad window.
Move vo to the table, interact, and move vo to the app.
Here is where it gets a little odd as vo doesn't seem to go to the correct place even though it seems that it does. I have found that I need to move vo directly to the disclosure triangle of the app before I release the mouse. You release it with the same key combo given above.
Hope that helps.
waw, thanks
